What is the Ghost Tour?
The Ghost Tour of Lancaster is a candlelight walking tour in historic Strasburg, PA or downtown
Lancaster, PA.

What is the difference between the Ghost Tour in Strasburg and the Ghost
Tour in Lancaster city?
The tours are similar in style but different in content. Both locations are colonial-era towns with rich
histories, with Lancaster being the larger of the two. It is approximately nine miles away from Strasburg.
Both tours visit eight to 10 haunted locations and include visits to historic cemeteries. The Strasburg
Ghost Tour runs Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 pm with additional tour times added as needed, while the
Lancaster Ghost Tour runs every evening at 8:00 pm.

Do we need reservations?
Strasburg: They are strongly recommended. Call 717.687.6687 to make reservations. In the town of
Strasburg, tour sizes are limited to 14 people; therefore, as one tour time is filled (beginning with 7:30
pm), another is added (at 8:00 and 8:30 pm, in order). To ensure your spot on the tour, make reservations
and buy tickets in advance.
Lancaster: Advanced ticket purchase is required for the Lancaster tour, and this serves as your
reservation. You may purchase tickets

Where do the tours begin?
Strasburg: Mrs. Penn's Shoppe at 2 W. Main Street, Strasburg, PA 17579 (at the intersection of
Routes 896 & 741).
Lancaster: Soldiers and Sailors Monument at the intersection of King and Queen Streets in
Lancaster, PA 17603.

What time should we get there?
Arrive 15 minutes before tour time.

How much walking is involved?
Strasburg: The tour covers a six block area and is less than a mile of
walking.
Lancaster: The tour covers an eight block area and is less than a mile of walking.

What should we wear?
Wear weather appropriate clothing and comfortable walking shoes.

What happens if it rains?
We make every attempt to conduct the tours; therefore, we do go in the rain. (So bring an umbrella!) If
weather conditions become severe, the tour may be cancelled. This decision is typically made at tour
time. Cancelled tours may be rescheduled or refunded.

What is your refund policy?
Tickets for the Strasburg tour are non-refundable.

What are the average sizes of the tours?
Strasburg: Tour sizes are limited to 14 people in the town of Strasburg. As one tour time fills up,
